Sometimes the simple things are most powerful when tragedy strikes…

I still can’t come up with the words of reflection that happened in yesterday’s Boston Marathon Tragedy minus wondering like everyone else what sick and evil person(s) would harm people who we should treat as real sports heroes: Marathon runners. Additionally harming theirĀ  families, friends, and spectators who were rooting them on.

This page however reminds me why I love Chicago so much… Kudos to the Tribune for their classy respect and condolences to Boston.

Here is the link to their story as well.

I also on the MLB.com site saw perhaps for the first time since 9/11 Yankees fans and Red Sox fans putting their rivalry aside to offer thoughts, condolences, and place their arms around each other showing we are all Americans and all in this together. Sports can divide us through competition however in times of tragedy like yesterday they can also bring us together.

Hang in there Boston. We are all united with you.
